Mr. Milkie is planning to add a 40 x 260 ft. masonery building to the rear of the existing property. Prior to construction Mr. Milkie must provide fire protection in the form of a hydrant either directly across from the main office on Ellington Road or by procuring an easement on adjacent property to extend a 6" water main from the 12" main on Chapel Road by placing a yard hydrant either in the middle of the complex or at the end. Mr- Milkie 's Success in getting the easement for a dry hydrant from the the retention pool in the rear of the property owned by Mr. Milkie would not be adequate to pro- vide the volume for an adequate fire flow.
