TOWN OF SOUTH WINDSOR
PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
At the August 28, 1984 meeting, the Planning and Zoning Commission
voted to take the following action:
1 . Approved a plan relocating phasing lines for Pleasant Hill
Condominiums , located on 25 . 37 acres on the west side of
Wheeler Road, south of Smith Street and north of
Pleasant Valley Road, MF-A zone
2. Approved the application of the Town of South Windsor for
a temporary and conditional permit under Section 3 . 17 . 1 to
hold an employees ' family picnic at Veterans ' Memorial Park
on September 8 , 1984 (rain date September 9 , 1984) .
3 . Reapproved the application of Prince Associates, for a site
plan of development for property located at 388 Strong Road, I zone .
4% Approved an amended site plan for United Technologies for
property location on the south side of Governors Highway,
west of the South Windsor Bank & Trust Co . , I zone .
5 . Approved, with modifications , the application of J . E. Shepard
Co . for a resubdivision of one lot on the west side of Bidwell
Road, west of John Fitch Boulevard, I zone .
6 . Approved the application of Bissell Commons , Inc. for a
subdivision of property located on the north side of Chapel
Road , as shown on a plan prepared by Lucek Engineering
Assoc. , Inc . , dated 6-8-84 , I zone .
7. Approved, with modifications , the application of John Kuo
for a site plan of development for property located at the
southwest corner of John Fitch Blvd . and Route 5 , as shown
on a plan prepared by Reino E. Hyyppa & Associates, dated 5-2-84 ,
revised to 5-8-84 , Map No . 87-83-1A, in a GC zone .

Re: App. #1020 Bissell Commons
Please be advised that the Planning and Zoning Commission
voted on August 28, 1984 , to approve the above application
for a resubdivision of property located on the north side
of Chapel Road, as shown on a plan prepared by Lucek Engineering
Assoc. , Inc . , dated 6-8-84 , in an I zone, subject to the
following modifications:
1 . MDC coordinates must be shown;
2 . Iron pins must be shown on all corners of Parcel A;
3 . The southerly street line of Chapel Road must be shown;
4 . The foliage line must be addressed ; and
5 . The 50 year flood line must be addressed.
Within 90 days of the date of approval (by 11/26/84) a 24" x 36"
black and white mylar, together with three paper prints , with this
letter reproduced thereon, must be submitted to this Commission
to be stamped and signed. The mylar will then be filed in the
Office of the Town Clerk.
