These letters, together with the details on the plan previously filed, should satisfy items 1, 2 and 4 of your letter of November 19, 1975. With respect to item 3, this has b en investigated and the proposed location of the leaching field is considered the best location on the site for the following reasons. If and when the Town of So. Windsor installs sewers to serve this property, they have indicated the line will run North of the property. Keeping the fields out of the area south of the building, was dictated by the poor draining soil type shown on the Town Wetlands Map, which covers most of this area between the proposed building and the existing building. If the above information is sufficient for your determination of approval, please so notify me. If you wish to discuss any of the details of my submittal or have any other questions, please place me on the agenda for your next meeting on December $, 1975 pc' erely, Francis V. Rossi P. We have de an attempt to work out an agreement with the Metropolitan District Commi sion for a connection for Central Paving but unfortunately, under their prese t regulations, they would not go deeper than 200 feet off Burnham Street. This fact coupled with the high cost of connecting to the MDC rendered it imp ssi- ble or impractical for Central Paving to connect to that sewer line so a to service property in the rear of their land off Burnham Street. The Sout Windsor Sewer Commission has voted to table the matter and suggests that alternative methods of sewerage disposal be used (e.g. -septic system). Very truly yours, f James H.
