Re: Water service to parcel off New Marker Road
in South Windsor
Dear Mr. Collins:
Replying to your letter dated September 14, 1977, to Mr. Thompson,
our Foreman, we are pleased to advise that water service could be pro-
vided to the parcel you describe by a pipeline extension from Edith
Road in Vernon. We are enclosing a map showing the approximate location
of what we think is the land in question. We do not have a pipeline
on New Marker Road.
Full payment for the estimated cost of the pipeline would be
required in advance in accordance with our rules and regulations, to be
adjusted to actual cost when job was completed. A contract would have
to be signed and roads would have to be properly graded within 6" of
finished grade and staked out before construction with easements to
Company if not a town road.
The Town of South Windsor would have to approve location of pub-
lic fire hydrants before any could be installed. The Water Company
would stand the cost of installing any public fire hydrants. The
developer would have to pay for all service connections from main to
curb box, plus of course, from curb to cellar with at least 1" Type K
copper tubing.
Refunds are made for each house built and occupied on this exten-
sion. Our current rate is $232 per house. We do not have any responsi-
bility for sewers or drainage problems. I hope this information will
be helpful. We have ample water and pressure available to supply this
parcel and would be glad to serve you.

Subject: Edith Road - Storm drainage
Dear Sir:
In reference to our telephone conversation concerning
your discharging into the above referenced storm system, I have
studied the situation further and have determined that our sys -
tem can handle a maximum discharge of 20 CFS from your proposed
subdivision. Your calculations should reflect an R factor of
0. 6 and an i factor of 6 . 3 in.pAr hour. I would, of course ,
like to review your design before final tie-in authorization is
granted.
We can accept all of the sanitary flow from the proposed
subdivision.
Very truly yours ,

I am aware of Joseph Natsisky's application for a zone change from E
RR to A20. I understand that he hopes to subdivide a portion of his farm located

I have no objection to the granting of this zone change inasmuch as
it is the logical extension of the single dwelling family units adjacent to his property.
