Dear Mr. Warren:
Enclosed please find a copy of an approval letter, dated April 7, 1978,
for a resubdivision of 3.03 acres of land owned by Joseph A. Krawski, Jr.,
located on the westerly side of Foster Street, near the intersection of
Orchard Hill Drive.
Item #7 requires that a frontage variance for lot #1 be obtained from
the Zoning Board of Appeals. This variance would be necessary so that an
easement can be obtained by the subdivider for the Town to gain access
to the detention area and town-owned open space land in the rear of
this property and to align a 50-foot road stub directly across from
Orchard Hill Drive for a possible future road.
If you have any questions prior to this request for a variance being
heard by your Board, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Very truly yours,

Dear Douq:
'hank you for the vops which I received last Friday, May 12th.
I took a copy of the map up to Buck Page and he is requesting
the following changes be made to the sub-division VAP prior to filing
With the Town
1. A fifty foot (5 0 ' ) building line should be shown on all
of the 10ts, the buildinq line running not only along Foster
Street# but also sheering fifty foot (50' ) building lines for lots
two and three.
2. A second sheet will have to he added to the asap in order
that all of the land covered by the subdivision be shown. That
is, the southerly sound of the property marked with the uig-eag
line&, be eliminated and a second sheet added. In addition,
i ion, since
the c®pies of the final approval letter of the Planning Commission
and the anticipated approval letter from the Zoning Beard of
Appeals will have to be photocopied onto the mylar, they second
sheet could also be utilized for that purpose.
3. In addition, although it has not been recorded on the
land records yet, the land which is marked on the map " N/F
Roney Veilleux and Raymond Fortier ( tention Bagin) " is subj ct
to an right of way in favour to Joseph Krawski Jr. , so there should
be a note Placed in the area marked as the Vailleux property that
that area is " subjact to right of way and restrictions in
favour of Joseph A. Krawski Jr. , his heirs and assigns %
4. Finally, the title of the map should be changed from
Plot FlAn to Sub-Division Flan. Therefore, the title should r-ad
Suva--division plan, Property of Joseph A. Krawski Jr. and th n, the
rest of the map titl as it app are.
Buck would appreciat your making th cha!!ng s as indicated and,
89 soon as I forward th final 1 tter of approval f roil th Zoning
Board of App als, the final mylars can be prepared. if you haav

In re: Krawski Sub-Division, Foster Street
South Windsor , Connecticut
Dear Chairman Grace :
As you know, your Commission approved the sub-division of
Joseph A. Krawski, Jr. , some time ago.
The preparation of the final sub-division map had been
delayed pending our obtaining a letter of approval for a
variance from the South Windsor Zoning Board of Appeals.
We just received, on June loth, a letter from the Zoning
Board of Appeals advising us that they had approved our
request for a variance. With that in mind, I had forwarded
the letter to the engineer, Douglas Prior, for inclusion
within the final map. However, it is possible that we will
not have the final map prepared for your signature before
July loth which is the expiration of the sixty-five day
period following your approval.
With that in mind, I would therefore request an extension
for an additional sixty day period in which to have the final
map prepared and submitted to your Commission for signature.
While I anticipate that the map will be completed before
July loth, I would appreciate y?uy Commission granting an
extension in the event the map i not completed on time.
