Dear Sir:
Re: Application No. 1336-79
David Luchina, et ux
The above application to the South Windsor Zoning Board of
Appeals requesting a variance of Article 5, Section 2,
to allow a lot with less than required width, side yards and
frontage on premises known as 482 Main Street, in an A-40
zone, has been granted.
The Board voted to allow three lots as shown on the map
accompanying the application, and the following variances :
1. Approximately 3 ft. on the side line on
the lot with the existing barn;
2. Approximately 42' variance on the front
yard for the existing house; and
3. Approximately 27' width variance for each
of the other two newly created lots.
The above variances are granted subject to approval by the
Planning & Zoning Commission of a site plan of development.
The Board felt the first two variance should be granted since
the house was built in the 1700's and pre-dated zoning, and
felt that the 27' variances are in keeping with other property
on both Main Street and Chapel Road and that there is sufficient
area in the newly created lots.
The above action is effective September 19th, and upon filing
the enclosed form in the Town Clerk's Ofzice.
