RE: Application #422
Vincent Vespa Jr.
Chapel Road
Dear Jack:
In accordance with the standard practice of plan review,
enclosed are the comments for the above noted application.
1 . There are no wetlands on the site. Plans should
so indicate it.
2 . One of the notes relates that "all erosion and
sedimentation and erosion controls shall be in
accordance with the Connecticut Guidelines." Con-
sidering the volume of information in the guide-
lines , it would seem the engineer should show some
of the pertinent items together with appropriate
sequence.
3 . There has been no input from staff in the plan
preparation.
4 . The plan should include sufficient notes and comments
on it for construction. If an approval were to be
considered, a bond of $3 ,000 might be appropriate.
Very truly yours,
t

RE: Vespa Site Plan Review
Dear Kevin :
As indicated on the plan there are no wetlands . In the past it has been
used as a borrow pit leaving just the sandy subsoil .
The impervious coverage of the . 7 acre parcel is intended to be about . 4
of an acre . It appears that the 151 proposed plantings together with the
seeping as shown should protect the exposed areas .
If an approval were to be considered , the following conditions could be
appropriate .
1 . A $3 , 000 bond should be sufficient to assure compliance with
the plans as submitted and installation of the sedimentation
and erosion controls .
