Re: Driveway Permit for 780 Avery Street
Dear Mr. Edwards,
As we discussed on November 16, 2006 the Town's Put
do not allow the creation of more than one driveway per,
as Avery Street. However, this requirement does not appi
existed for many years prior to the Town's specifications.
photographs confirms that an area separate from the main d .. and
could be used to park a vehicle at 780 Avery Street. The ph, ao not have
enough detail to determine that this area was paved or not.
The area recently paved was not in accordance with the pavement area approved under
Street Excavation Permit 4307. Based on the information you provided and the aerial
photographs,the Town will considered the parking area a pre-existing condition and
allow the new pavement to remain. The new pavement should be connected to the main
driveway pavement by placing additional pavement in the gap between them for about
eight to.ten feet as we discussed from the edge of the road. The added pavement will
enable people and vehicles additional space to move more safely. Thank you for your
