Dear Mr. Lucek:
I believe that youwill recall my phone call of last
week in which we discus';)the
the problems experienced by the
Caldwells of 45 Good Hill Road, South Windsor. As you will
also recall, we discussed the fact that these people are
experiencing a substantial amount of water runoff at the
curbside of their property. During our discussion, you
assured me that the problem would receive your attention in
the near future -specifically that a dye test would be run
to determine whether or not there was a sewage problem.
I have been informed that to date nothing has been
done. I am again requesting that this problem receive your
immediate attention so that we do not have to consider more
formal legal action against the Town of South Windsor.

Dear Mr. Wanza:
Re: #45 Good Hill Road
On Monday, December 16, the Department of Public Works was called -
upon to assist in a sewer back-up at House #p45 Good Hill Road.
Although this street is not yet accepted by the Town, due to -
the emergency nature of the condition, Town employees did
service the problem, and removed the blockage, thereby relieving
the back-up.
Good Hill Road was due for Town Council acceptance into the
public street system, at its meeting of December 16. I have
requested, and the Town Manager has agreed, that -this acceptance
be withheld until the following Council meeting, in order to
provide you with adequate time to reinspect the sanitary sewers
in this street, and to assure that no further problems exist
and that no damage was done during the process of today' s
repairs.
I would anticipate that the most efficient means of conducting
this inspection would be through the use . of a television
inspection system, such as "Penetryne. "
Please contact Mr. Edwards of our Pollution Control Division
when you are prepared to conduct this further inspection.
