Dear Mr. Shaw:
We have discussed the impending hook-up by our neighbors, the Zumpes
at 331 Abbe Road Extension,to the 8 inch sewer main which we installed from a
pre-existing manhole in the center of Abbe Road Extension northward across the
100 ft. frontage easement at 331. This was done to allow access to our property
at 341 Abbe Road Extension.
At the time of the installation of the sewer main, we were required to
provide a tee in that line should the property owners at 331 elect to hook into the
line at some future date.
That tee is located approximately six or seven feet from the
aforementioned manhole on Abbe Road Extension. Thus the residents at 331
would need only to connect from the existing tee to a line planned to run south of
their home and to connect to the line currently emptying into a septic tank
currently located at the rear of their home.
Therefore it is our intention not to assess the Zumpes for any
reimbursement of our construction costs.
